frequently asked questions.

I’m ready to book you! What’s next?

To hold your date, I require an electronically signed contract and 50% non-refundable booking fee. The remaining balance is due 30 days from the wedding date.

How many hours of coverage do I need?

There is no right answer to this one as I’m happy to be there for you for 10 hours or 3, but I always advise you to take a look at your timeline, and count backwards from when the DJ or band invites everyone to the dance floor.

How many photos will we receive?

No two weddings are alike, but a good rule of thumb is that you can plan to receive about 100 images per hour of photography coverage. If I’m working with a second shooter, it may be a little more than that.

How long does it take to receive our images?

Images are typically delivered within 6-8 weeks of your event. Delivery time will vary slightly depending on the time of year.

What are your rates?

Wedding day coverage begins at $3000, with most clients investing between $3300-$4000. Popular add-ons include additional hours, rehearsal dinner coverage, polaroid coverage and more.

What can we expect from our engagement session?

Once all “official paperwork” has been taken care of, we’ll schedule your engagement session. I offer complimentary engagement sessions to all of my wedding clients simply because I feel the experience is invaluable. This is a chance for us to hang out and get to know each other a little more. It lets me see how the two of you interact and you’ll understand how I work behind the camera. Engagement sessions typically last 90 minutes. If you have questions on what to wear and what location to choose, we can discuss those details after we lock in your date.

Do you need a shot list?

I do ask for a shot list for your family photos at the wedding, so we make sure no one is forgotten, and we get them done efficiently. My recommendation is to keep the list relatively brief. Beyond that, though, I prefer not to work off a list. Your wedding is a series of dynamic moments, not a static checklist. Unless there’s something that I wouldn’t be expecting to happen at all, don’t worry about a checklist… I’ve got it covered!

Do you also photograph families?

Every year I take on a small handful of family lifestyle sessions. I love to capture families in their most natural state of being - whether its running around the beach at sunset, or a cozy morning in your own home or backyard. Sessions start at $350.
